Programming & Event Intake Prep Guide


What You Can Submit:

        • Event or Program Proposal — You have a specific event or presentation ready to go
        • Suggestion or Idea — You'd like to see a topic covered but don't have a presenter in mind
        • Location Offering — You have access to a venue that could host chapter programming

Note: The intake form does not save your progress. Estimated completion time is 3-15 minutes depending on submission type.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Who can submit?
A. Board members, chapter members, non-members, and members from other ATD chapters.

Q. What happens after I submit?
A. All submissions are reviewed by a committee that meets twice monthly. Depending on timing, it could take up to 4 weeks for a response.

Q. Does ATD Central PA pay speakers?
A. We do not typically compensate speakers. However, depending on the type and scope of the program, compensation may be factored.

Q. Can I promote my services during a presentation?
A. We prioritize educational content. Presenters may share information about their services at the conclusion of their session, but presentations cannot be primarily promotional or sales-focused.
