Angelica Brodeur is a Prevention Specialist at the Pennsylvania Coalition to Advance Respect (PCAR), a division of Respect Together. She provides statewide training and technical assistance to prevention educators, with an emphasis on supportive policies and practices, accessible resources and communication, and individualized skill development and coaching. She also serves as a training and program consultant for developing human service programs. 

She holds a Master of Science in Training and Development and the Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) and SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certifications. Angelica is also completing coursework in Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to enhance her ability to create inclusive learning environments. 

Angelica has been a member of ATD National and ATD Central Pennsylvania since 2021. After serving on the Membership Committee and as Vice President of Membership from 2022–2024, she is excited to serve as Vice President of Operations, supporting chapter operations so members can gain the greatest value from their membership.

Vice President of Programs (Two Year Term)

Jonathan has 15+ years of experience in developing and coaching leaders, building high-performance teams, driving individual and organizational performance, and delivering operational and customer service excellence.  He has served the past several years on the chapter’s Program Committee and is excited to move into this leadership role. He has a passion for providing engaging growth opportunities that propel learning and development professionals to achieve optimal performance. He currently serves as the Front Office Manager at the Bird-in-Hand Family Inn in Bird-in-Hand, PA.  Previously, he worked in front line, managerial, and leadership roles at the Commonwealth of PA learning and development community.

Beth Lease is an instructional designer with a passion for creating meaningful learning experiences and fostering collaboration across teams. She has worked in higher education and nonprofit organizations since 2014, contributing to educational initiatives and instructional design projects that support learning and professional development.

Beth earned her Master of Science in Instructional Technology from Bloomsburg University in 2015. Throughout her career, she has worked on both large- and small-scale instructional design projects, including initiatives supported by state and federally funded programs as well as projects that support higher education initiatives. These experiences have strengthened her ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, communicate complex information, and support projects that serve a variety of audiences.

For the past two years, Beth has served on the ATD Central PA Marketing and Communications Committee, where she has focused on strengthening the chapter’s social media presence and promoting its goals. Through this work, she has developed a deeper appreciation for the importance of effective communication in building an engaged professional community.

As a candidate for Vice President of Marketing & Communications, Beth hopes to build on her committee experience and is excited about the opportunity to contribute to the chapter’s continued success and support the learning and development professionals who make up the Central PA community.
