Some of us in the profession are already there.  Some of us are on the way.  Still others are quite a distance from it.

There may even be a small percentage who has no idea what this means . . .

Already “there?”  Where?

Let’s be clear.  In the 21st century, the expectation is that Organizational Learning, Development and Performance Professionals must function as a business partner, and a critical part of that business partnership is collaborating with Subject Matter Experts, or SMEs.

Sounds great, in theory . . . but what does all that mean?

Engage with your Central PA professional peers as we explore what it means to partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in the critical skill areas of:

  • Assessment
  • Content Development
  • Facilitation
  • Business Partnership
  • Relationship Building
  • Project Planning/Project Management
  • Measurement

Glean how no-nonsense, forward-thinking philosophies andsimple, effective models and tools can be applied to SME partnership initiatives in the organization(s) you support to drive meaningful learning and results!

Arrive ready to deeply engage in learning conversation and activities that reinforce the knowledge and skills that will help put the tired, worn out “academic model” practices in your past, and help you embrace the direction the profession is headed, and for some, has already achieved - business partnership.

Get ready to transform the way you think, and possibly the way you perform your role in the future, as we boldly step into the theories and practices that truly will make a difference in organization(s) you support!
