Over 20 years ago our chapter, looking to serve networking needs of members in the Lancaster/York areas, formed LYN (for Lancaster/York Network).  Since most members who attended were from Lancaster it was renamed Red Rose Learning Community.  For now, it is virtual but still hosted from the Red Rose city with a focus on forming a community of practice where we share our successes and challenges in a caring group of like-minded professionals.

Generally we an article from CLO magazine (Chief Learning Officer) as a topic to consider when we meet; although it is not unusual to spend all our time discussing current issues members bring up during our opening welcome.

This month we will divert from CLO and instead do a follow-up to the chapter program on virtual training conducted on March 18. If you attended, please bring your key take-aways to our discussion and share your insights on this important topic. If you missed the event, this will be a chance to pick up some tips you missed.

As usual we will spend time checking in with each other and discussing projects and plans for the coming months. The gathering question will be - what is the future of classroom learning?
