Join us and session facilitator Paul Caulfield to explore the role of facilitation in a variety of interventions. We will discuss how to design a facilitation to meet specific objectives, such as idea-generation, consensus-building, problem-solving and organizational planning. In this highly interactive session, participants will have opportunities to learn and try out a number of essentials facilitation skills to help groups work better together.    

About the Speaker: 

Paul leads the Dering Consulting Group in the design of training, strategic planning and organization development engagements. His primary interest is in finding creative approaches to enhance learning and engagement so that individual capabilities are aligned with organizational objectives. A professional trainer and group process facilitator for over 30 years, Paul serves as adjunct faculty for several universities. 

Paul has logged over 10,000 hours in classroom instruction. He has designed and delivered hundreds of instructor-led courses in a range of topics such as communications, instructor development, facilitator excellence, process improvement, presentation skills, and numerous client-specific technical topics. Paul also contributes to Dering’s extensive capabilities in online course development.
