All new, current, and potential members are encouraged to attend as we want everyone to be aware of the many wonderful benefits offered through our chapter.
You will also have the opportunity to share your professional needs and expectations in joining the ATD Central Pennsylvania Chapter while networking with other learning professionals in attendance.

Presenters: Mike Lovell, Vice President of Membership and Membership Committee Members
Mike started his professional life as a Systems Engineer for Honeywell at the Australian Dept. of Defence. In mid-career he left a senior line management position as Commercial Systems Controller for a large Power Generating Company and took a leap-of-faith into the world of consulting. Over the next twenty years he built and led successful consulting practices for several international consulting companies leading projects for clients in public utilities, airlines, banking, postal services and the public sector. In 2000, he relocated to the US to lead a team consulting to large corporations in the (then) fledgling field of website User Experience (UX). That project fell apart in the wake of the 9/11 attacks and a twist of life led him to found a publishing business in partnership with his late wife, Pam Haines. In 2020 Mike founded Pathways to Consulting, offering training, coaching, and mentoring to professionals seeking to develop consulting skills. Mike has been an active member/office holder in many different professional associations over the years as a way of “giving back.” Mike holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Australian National University (ANU) with majors in Economics, Mathematics and Computer Science.
