If the leader of your organization came to you tomorrow and asked these five questions, how would you respond?

  • What is workforce planning, and do we need it here?
  • What's the difference between succession and replacement planning?
  • Do we use “job analysis” here?  If we don't, do we have the tools to do it?
  • Should we have an active career development program here?
  • Does the training department or the accounting department conduct a human resource audit?

At the May 10th program, you'll receive the “keys to the castle” on career planning and talent management:

  • Approaches for workforce/succession/replacement planning, and career development/career advising plus explain your role as a workplace learning and performance professional;
  • Tools to conduct job analysis and assessments to facilitate career planning and talent management;
  • Resources to guide your career planning and talent management efforts back on the job.

As a bonus gift for attending the program, you'll receive a copy of Managing for the Ages:  Generations at Work that presents stacks of information about multiple generations and age diversity in the workplace.

Career Planning and Talent Management is also a module in the ASTD Certified Professional in Learning & Performance (CPLP) program.
