In this program participants are introduced to the what, why and how of a competency modelling approach through the lens of a case study. In the case study participants are introduced to the underlying organizational need(s) that prompted the initiative and a four- phase process that was used to create the alignment, as well as the tools developed for sustaining it.

Speaker Bio:

As Vice President of Business Development for Dering Consulting Group, Paul’s responsibilities include the management of the firm’s relationships with clients and developing solutions for organizational challenges where individual performance is clearly in-focus. His project experience includes:

• Change management consulting
• Large-scale, training design/development
• Designing and facilitating executive 360° assessment processes
• e-Learning design

Paul graduated from Millersville University with a Bachelors’ degree in Secondary Education – Biology and is a 2011 graduate of the Community Leadership Series through Leadership Harrisburg Area (LHA). He is a certified Change Practitioner through Prosci®.
