Often overlooked as something done by professionals and children, research and practice have both demonstrated that art can actually play a pivotal role in helping groups of adults coalesce around their goals, in the creative integration of conflicting agendas, and in their vision for a future change-state.

In this experiential session with Jo Tyler, we will explore how artistic expression provides a powerful dimension to our ways of knowing and understanding the contexts we inhabit, and often take for granted, every day. In addition to a quick (and painless) look at the theory that underpins practice in this area, you will get a video-glimpse at a live case study undertaken by Jo on her sabbatical. But most importantly, you will experience, hands-on, a process you can use to integrate storytelling and visual art in support of surfacing new insights and connections.
