We have been hard at work creating an exciting partnership opportunity with the Department of Instructional Design and Technology (DIDT) at Commonwealth University in Bloomsburg to offer ATD Central PA members a personalized experience at the upcoming 2026 Corporate Advisory Council (CAC) Conference.

Imagine a 3-day immersion into the future of learning and development. The DIDT at Commonwealth University in Bloomsburg’s conference is a dynamic platform for Talent Development and HR professionals to not only showcase their innovations but to shape the next generation of talent.

Attendees get the chance to give expert feedback to students in mock presentations, network with industry leaders, and discover the latest trends. It's where expertise meets innovation, and where connections are forged for the future of our industry.

ATD Central PA members are being provided a unique experience with pre-conference programming. Not just as a conference member, but also as a volunteer to support the students! Scroll down to see more details on the agenda for this three-day event!

Event Cost and Registration: While the conference is three days, you can choose to attend only on Wednesday for $55 or attend the full event for $115. Be a Presenter: Looking for a way to attend the event and develop your own skills? In addition to attending the conference, you can also be a speaker! The CAC Conference provides opportunities for organizations and individuals to present on timely L&D topics, practices, and technology. Presentations are on Wednesday (April 15). Presentations can be informative or interactive, but attendees and students love it best when they are engaging! Email Dr. Karl Kapp at kkapp@commonwealthu.edu to submit a proposal to present on Wednesday.

Come listen to an in-person presentation from Dr. Karl Kapp, world-renowned for gamification and learning technologies, and offer your expertise by reviewing portfolios and resumes of emerging talent for our industry.

Day 1 - Wednesday, April 15, 2026

Assist with reviewing student resumes and student portfolios.
Attend presentation by Dr. Karl Kapp.
Listen to engaging presenters or be a presenter yourself! If you would like to present on Wednesday, contact Dr. Kapp at kkapp@commonwealthu.edu with your idea and topic. Hurry, presentation slots are limited!

Day 2 - Thursday, April 16, 2026

Gain insight and ideas that you can bring back to your organization for your L&D function to institute.
Participate in discussing these innovations and provide professional feedback to emerging talent.
Dinner and networking with other CAC attendees and students.

Day 3 - Friday, April 17, 2026

Hear about latest thinking in the field and learn about cutting edge learning technologies.
Interview talented students for employment and internships.
