President: Adam White
Entering his fourth year on the ATD Central Pennsylvania Board of Directors, Adam White Is honored to be serving our members and providing leadership to our Board of Directors as President in 2021. Adam has been a member of the chapter for 10 years, serving previous as its Vice President of Finance. He also served on the ATD Chapter Leaders Conference (ALC) Program Advisory Committee in 2020.
Adam is also a member of the Association for Talent Development. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in history education from Shippensburg University and a Master’s Degree in Training & Development from Penn State University.
Adam has been working in the talent and organizational development field for over 20 years across multiple industries and organizations in Central Pennsylvania.

President-Elect: Jeff Fetterman
Jeff Fetterman is the Manager of Learning and Development (L&D) at PSECU as well as an adjunct professor at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology.
Prior to joining PSECU, he was a Director at Booz Allen Hamilton where he was responsible for the functional/technical skills development of over 23,000 employees. Jeff also was the manager of course development at a division of GE Industrial Systems, where he oversaw the development of classroom and web- based courses designed for GE customers.
Jeff has a Master of Science (MS) in Mathematics and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Human Capital Strategist (HCS).

Past President: Paul Young
Paul is the Vice President for Business Development for Dering Consulting Group, where his responsibilities include the management of the firm's relationships with clients and developing solutions for organizational challenges where individual performance in clearly in-focus. His project experience includes:
Paul graduated from Millersville University with a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education – Biology and is a 2011 graduate of the Community Leadership Series through Leadership Harrisburg Area (LHA). He is a certified Change Practitioner through Prosci.

Vice President of Administration: Michelle Houck
Michelle Houck is the University Instructor at Mid Penn Bank University. She has been employed with Mid Penn Bank for five years during, which she has held various positions from Teller to her current role. Michelle facilitates retail classes including Teller Essentials, Teller Operations, and Consumer Account Essentials.
She is an active member of the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of the Association for Talent Development (ATD) and the national organization for almost two years. She has previously served on the chapter's Programs Committee.
Michelle received an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration – Accounting from Harrisburg Area Community College.

Vice President of Marketing: Amanda Hoover
Amanda Hoover is the trainer at Belco Community Credit Union where she has been drinking the credit union Kool-Aid for 15 years (training for 8 of those). Being the only L&D professional for a majority of that time, Amanda has experience spanning from developing and facilitating in-person training to self-directed online modules on a wide variety of topics.
An ATD member since 2013, Amanda took a more active role in the Central Pennsylvania Chapter by joining the Marketing Committee in mid-2020. She is also proud to share her recent completion of the ATD Master Trainer Program. Next step: CPTD!
In her personal time, Amanda serves on the Big Brother Big Sister of the Capital Region board of directors, is an active den leader for Cub Scout Pack 279 and can be found Saturday mornings volunteering at the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area’s vaccine clinics.

Vice President of Membership: Gina Sweeney
Gina Sweeney is the Manager of Training & Development at Hershey Entertainment and Resorts. With over 20 years of training, facilitation, coaching, leadership, and employee development, Gina leads a team which is responsible for onboarding employees as well as developing leadership and professional development initiatives across the organization.
Prior to this role, she held the role of Manager, Learning and Organizational Development at Listrak. Her role included managing organization-wide initiatives ranging from onboarding to executive-level development. Gina also worked at Auntie Anne’s Inc. for nine years, where she led Learning and Development programs that supported 100 corporate employees and 1500 domestic store locations. Her responsibilities included launching a corporate university for all employees, delivering leadership and culture training to all new franchisees, and delivering regional training to store managers across the country.
Gina is an active member of National ATD. She holds a Bachelor of Science, Organizational Behavior/Applied Psychology from Albright College and, in 2019, achieved her Master of Science, Organizational Development and Leadership from Saint Joseph’s University.

Vice President of Programming: Phyllis Metzler
Phyllis Metzler will soon celebrate 14 years with the Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union (PSECU) where she started as a telephone representative in State College and quickly transitioned into a role where she was responsible for training new employees in the department. This included conducting one-on-one coaching, authoring eLearning courses, and facilitating classroom programs.
Recently, Phyllis moved to the Harrisburg area and joined the PSECU Learning & Development team where her responsibilities cover nearly all aspects of L&D functions. This includes research, planning, organizing, developing, and facilitating learning programs for the Credit Union including the design and facilitation of New Employee Orientation.
Phyllis has been part of the Central Pennsylvania ATD Chapter’s Programs task force since 2018 and is eager to expand her role to continue to provide quality programs for the Central Pennsylvania ATD Chapter members.
