About the speaker:

Susan Fort, as Director of Learning for SCORE, is responsible for the strategy and execution of key recruiting, onboarding, and learning initiatives. She leads innovation and oversees the systems and processes for new recruits (3000 annually) and ongoing volunteer education of 10,000+. Ongoing learning includes content development and a robust and varied learning execution strategy: online learning, the annual volunteer virtual conference, and the national leadership conference. Since 2017, she has partnered with SCORE’s Culture of Inclusion working group on the educational strategy and execution to support and grow SCORE’s culture of inclusion and diversity matters value. This has included an online learning module and in-person training program delivered to approximately 400 leaders in SCORE.

Susan's career connects people with meaningful learning. She creates powerful learning experiences, empowers nonprofit leaders, and champions volunteerism. From 2004-2009, she founded and led a Business Alliances for Local Living Economies chapter in Baltimore, Maryland. She holds a MEd from Cambridge College and a BA in French and International Studies from Guilford College.
